How to Read your Bill

A GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING YOUR WAPA BILL

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority has unveiled a new and improved billing format this month for your convenience. You’ll find most of the information from the previous billing statement on the new bill, however, there are some important areas of the new bill format we’ve highlighted for you in this easy reference guide to reading your residential electric bill.

Note: This new bill includes an increase effective August 1, 2012.

Some reminders:

  • Be sure to note your due date each month to avoid late fees.
  • Always include your stub when paying at WAPA business offices, the bank, or by mail. A return envelope will be included in future bills.
  • Avoid long lines! Payments made online are easy and secure. Visit this page
