WAPA ASKS ST. THOMAS MOTORIST TO DRIVE CAUTIOUSLY IN THE SMITH BAY AREA WHILE CONTRACTOR INSTALLS AN 8” WATER LINE

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. Thomas customers in the East End that contractor, Island Roads Corporation will be installing an 8” water line in the Smith Bay area from the Smith Bay Ball field to the Entrance of Coral World. The work has already begun and will continue for the next 2 to 3 weeks.

WAPA urges the motoring public to drive cautiously while approaching the area. Please follow all traffic directions for the safety of the work crews, pedestrians, and all motorists. The cooperation of the public is appreciated during this service enhancement effort.
