WATER INTERRUPTION FRIDAY AND EARLY SATURDAY FOR CONTANT, ALTONA AND ANNA’S FANCY AREAS

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. Thomas water customers that technicians will be replacing a faulty gate valve on the Harwood Highway at the Banco Popular intersection from tonight at 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday. Customers in Contant, Altona, and the Anna’s Fancy area from John Thomas Funeral Home to the old ITT Building will experience water service interruption. This measure will improve water metering accountability in the area.

The Authority sincerely regrets the water service interruption to these areas and will make every effort possible to complete the work in a timely manner. The public’s patience and understanding is appreciated
