The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising St. Thomas water customers that the utility will immediately begin a water conservation schedule until further notice because water reserves are extremely low.  Customers will experience reduced or total loss of pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 5 a.m daily in the following areas: Lindberg Bay, Contant, Annas Fancy, Altona, Solberg, Upper Savan, Agnes Fancy, Frenchtown Upper Hospital Ground, Berg’s Home, and Estate Thomas.

The Authority will provide normal operating pressures to the affected customers from 5 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. daily. Water service will be maintained at all schools during operating hours.

The Authority urges customers to conserve water and to use alternate sources that are available to them, if possible.  The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused as a result of this conservation schedule.
