WAPA INTERRUPTING SERVICE TO SECTIONS OF SEVERAL FEEDERS WHILE REPAIRS ARE IN PROGRESS AT HARLEY PLANT

WAPA ALERT

 

            Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority technicians are working on several units in St. Thomas’ Randolph E. Harley Power Plant, which tripped off line earlier today. Plant personnel are currently troubleshooting the problem.

            

            WAPA has implemented service interruption to several feeders as follows:

            3:30 to 5:30 p.m.:    Feeder 7A  Altona 7 Welgunst, Bonne      

                                             Resolution, Caret Bay,    

                                             Contant, Dorethea, Northside to include

                                             Northstar Village

                                             Solberg and St. Peter Mountain Road

                                   

                                             Feeder  7C  East end of the island – Annas

                                             Retreat, Tutu, Mahogany Run, Mandahl, Smith

                                             Bay and Wintberg

                               

                                            Feeder 8A   Agnes Fancy, Charlotte Amalie,

                                            Portions of Mahogany Estate, Nisky Center,

                                            Hospital Ground and Garden Street

 

            WAPA apologizes for the inconvenience these interruptions may cause and will restore service as soon as possible.
