WAPA Service Interrupted to Several St. Thomas Feeders

UPDATE WAPA ALERT – 10:30 A.M.

 

 

 

Virgin Islands Water and Power plant personnel are working to bring Unit #23 back on line after it tripped earlier today, due to problems with the unit’s breakers. Service interruptions may be sporadic on various feeders throughout the morning as technicians work to restore the unit to full operation. At this time, service has been interrupted to the following feeders in the St. Thomas district.

 

Feeder 7A – Altona &Welgunst, Dorothea, Liliendahl, Hull Bay and other neighboring areas.

 

Feeder 7B – Raphune Hill, 1st Avenue, Wheatley Center and other neighboring areas.

 

Feeder 8A – Estate Ross, Garden Street, portions of Hospital Ground and other neighboring areas.

Feeder 8B – Annas Retreat, Donoe Bypass, Polyberg and other neighboring areas.

 

WAPA regrets the service interruptions and will restore feeders as soon as possible.
