UPDATED WAPA ALERT: SERVICE INTERRUPTED TO SEVERAL FEEDERS IN STT/STJ DISTRICT

Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority plant personnel are working to bring Unit #23, at the Randolph Harley Power Plant, back on line after a fuel leak caused the unit to shutdown unexpectedly. Service interruptions were placed into effect as technicians work to restore the unit to full operation.

 

Until 3:30 p.m. the following feeders will be affected:

Feeder 7A – Altona, Contant, Dorothea, Liliendahl, Nisky Center and neighboring areas.

Feeder 7B - Oswald Harris Court, Raphune Hill, Estate Thomas, Vitraco Park and neighboring areas.

Feeder 7D – Red Hook, Smith Bay, Sapphire, Water Bay Condo Frydendahl and neighboring areas.

Ridge Road Feeder - Anchorage, Cabrita Point, Cowpet Resort and other neighboring areas.

 

From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

Feeder 7E (St. John) – Bordeaux, Cruz Bay, East End and neighboring areas

Feeder 9D - Bolongo Bay, Bovoni, Frenchman’s Bay, Thomasville and neighboring areas.

Feeder 7C – Four Winds, Time Center, Tutu High Rise, Cassi Hill and neighboring areas

 

WAPA regrets the service interruptions and will restore feeders as soon as possible.
