ELECTRIC SERVICE INTERRUPTION ON ST. THOMAS

(Monday, January 30, 2012)

WAPA ALERT 11:30 a.m.

 

Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority plant personnel are working to bring Unit #22 at the Randolph E. Harley Power Plant back on line, after the unit unexpectedly tripped offline this morning. Service interruptions to the following feeders should be rectified within the hour.

  • Feeder 7A – Bonne Resolution, Dorothea, Misgunst, Mountain Top and neighboring areas
  • Feeder 7B - Oswald Harris Court, Raphune Hill, Estate Thomas and neighboring areas
  • Feeder 7D – Red Hook, Smith Bay, Sapphire, Frydendahl and neighboring areas
  • Feeder 8A – Estate Ross, Garden Street, Nisky Center, Contant and neighboring areas
  • Feeder 9C – Brookman, Charlotte Amalie    
  • Feeder 9D - Bolongo Bay, Bovoni, Frenchman’s Bay, Thomasville and neighboring areas.

WAPA regrets the service interruptions and will restore feeders as soon as possible.
