Emergency Water Service Interruption today on St. Croix

 WAPA WATER ALERT—ST. CROIX

WATER SERVICE INTERUPTION TODAY TO MAKE EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO RUPTURED LINE ON ST. CROIX

           

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising customers in the Estates La Grande Princess, St. John, Dolby Hill and Orange Grove areas of an emergency water service interruption today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Water technicians will be repairing a 16-inch water distribution mainline that ruptured early this morning in Estate Richmond.

The water standpipe at Richmond will remain in service but water haulers are asked to enter the area via the roadway in front of the Richmond Fire Station.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to obey all traffic directions while approaching the repair site in Estate Richmond. Questions and/or concerns can be directed to the Water division at 773-7795 and 773-3775.

WAPA regrets any inconvenience to its customers during this emergency repair. Every effort will be made to restore service as soon as possible.
