ALERT 9 A.M. - Rotating Service Interruption Continue in the STT/STJ District

Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority plant personnel continue to work to bring Units #22 and #23 online at the Randolph Harley Power Plant on St. Thomas. Until then, the Authority has implemented a rotation schedule. Customers are reminded that times are approximate, however each interruption is expected to last for two hours.

The following feeders will experience service interruptions until 10 a.m.:

  • Feeder #7B includes Longbay, 1st Avenue, Raphune Hill, sections of Estate Thomas and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #8B - Mafolie, Magens Bay, Peterborg and other neighboring areas

From approximately 10 a.m. to noon, the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

  • Feeder #6A includes Bonne Esperance, Bordeaux Lindberg Bay, Nisky, Scott Free, Fortuna, Hope and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #7C includes Four Winds, Time Center, Tutu High Rise, Cassi Hill and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #9D includes Bolongo Bay, Bovoni, Frenchman’s Bay, Thomasville and neighboring areas.
  • If needed, Feeder #9C, which includes Brookman, Mariendahl, Wintberg Peak and neighboring areas will be added to the 10 am to noon schedule.

From approximately noon to 2 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

  • Feeder #7A includes Agnes Fancy, Altona & Welgunst, Lerkenlund, Liliendahl, Misgunst, Pearl Estate, St. Peter Mountain Road and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #7D includes Emerald Hill, Frydendahl, Point Pleasant, Red Hook, Smith Bay and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #8A (portion) includes Garden Street, Savan, Hospital Ground and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #9E (St. John) includes Chocolate Hole, Centerline, Fish Bay, Pastory and neighboring areas.

From approximately 2 to 4 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

  • Ridge Road Feeder includes Secret Harbor, Nazareth, Cabrita Point, Ridge Road and neighboring areas.
  • Portions of Feeder #7E (St. John) to include the North Shore
  • Portions of Feeder #10B includes Bolongo to Frenchman’s Bay

If needed, the following feeders will be added to the 2 to 4 p.m. schedule:

  • Feeder #7B includes Longbay, 1st Avenue, Raphune Hill, sections of Estate Thomas and neighboring areas.
  • Feeder #8B - Mafolie, Magens Bay, Peterborg and other neighboring areas

From approximately 4 to 6 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

  • Portions of Feeder #10B includes Frenchman’s Bay to Havensight
  • Feeder #7C includes Four Winds, Time Center, Tutu High Rise, Cassi Hill and neighboring areas.

From approximately 5 to 7 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

  • Feeder #9A includes Subbase, Main Street, Back Street and neighboring areas.

Once again, this schedule is approximate. Updates will be sent out periodically and will also be available at www.viwapa.vi; www.vialert.gov, WAPA’s Facebook page, by listening to local radio stations, and by calling (340) 774-3552 and pressing #6 for a recorded message.
