WAPA CONTINUES MARKET SQUARE UNDERGROUND PROJECT

(Wednesday, October 17, 2012)

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s contractor Bryan Electric, in conjunction with the Authority’s linemen will install a new underground cable in the Market Square area of St. Thomas this week. As a result, on Thursday, October 18, Strand and Rejerrings Gades will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., to allow for repair to damaged lines and installation of new cables on a utility pole. All eastbound traffic will be diverted to Gamble Gade.

WAPA appreciates the cooperation of the public during this electric service enhancement.
