WAPA CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICES TO CLOSE EARLY ON THURSDAY

Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority customer service offices throughout the territory will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 27 to facilitate a territory-wide videoconference staff meeting. Offices on St. Croix and St. Thomas will reopen on Friday, December 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on St. John from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Next week, all offices will observe normal operating hours on Monday, December 31 and Thursday, January 3. St. Thomas and St. John offices will open on Wednesday, January 2; St. Croix offices will be closed.

All offices will be closed on December 25, 26, and January 1, 4 and 7.

Customers are urged to avoid long lines by using other payment options which include online payments at www.viwapa.vi,; placing a check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA business offices or by mail using the envelope included with the billing statement. Payments can also be made at most local banks. Customers paying in person will save time by bringing their bills with them to the cashier windows.
