WAPA Customer Service Hours for Carnival Week

During Carnival week, Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority customer service offices will operate as follows:

Wednesday, April 24
St. Thomas 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (office will stay open one hour later)
St. John 8 a.m. to noon
St. Croix 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday, April 25
St. Thomas/St. John Closed
St. Croix 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday, April 26
Territory-Wide Closed
Automated water standpipes will operate 24 hours a day throughout the weekend. All WAPA offices will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, April 29.

WAPA urges customers to avoid long lines next week by paying online at Request a PIN (personal identification number) by sending an email with account name and number to Payments can also be made by check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA’s business offices, at most local banks, or by mail.

The public is asked to drive cautiously during Carnival Week to avoid collisions with utility poles which may result in injury, property damage or electric service interruptions. Customers experiencing service emergencies or planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 340-774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 340-773-0150 on St. Croix.
