St. Thomas Business Office to Close aty 3 p.m. on Friday and All day Monday

WAPA’S ST. THOMAS BUSINESS OFFICE TO CLOSE AT 3 P.M. ON FRIDAY ALL OFFICES CLOSED ON MONDAY IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority will close its St. Thomas business office and payment windows at Beltjen Place on Friday at 3 p.m. due to unforeseen circumstances.

Business offices throughout the territory will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day and will resume normal hours on Tuesday in St. Thomas and St. Croix at 7:30 a.m. and on St. John at 8 a.m.


WAPA urges customers to avoid long lines on Tuesday by paying online at www.viwapa.vi. Request a PIN (personal identification number) by sending an email with account name and number to customerservice@viwapa.vi. Payments can also be made by check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA’s business offices, at most local banks, or by mail using the envelope included in the billing statement.

Automated water standpipes will operate 24 hours a day through the holiday weekend.

Customers experiencing service emergencies or planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 340-774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 340-773-0150 on St. Croix.
