(Friday, September 19, 2014)

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority and J. Benton Construction crews will continue installing H-20 rated pull boxes on Company St., Christiansted on Monday, September 22.  From 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., vehicular traffic on Company St. will be rerouted while crews work to replace damaged pull boxes between Church and Queen Cross Streets in Christiansted.

Motorists are asked to follow signs and the flagger’s instructions for the safety of crews, pedestrians and other drivers.

There will be no electrical service interruption as a result of this work on Company Street. Every effort will be made to restore normal vehicular traffic as soon as possible. The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this traffic disruption.
