WAPA Customer Service Offices’ Holiday Schedule

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s Customer Service Offices will observe the following schedule throughout the territory in observance of the holiday season and the St. Croix Christmas Festival.
Wednesday, December 24th – All offices open – 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thursday, December 25th – All offices closed
Friday, December 26th – All offices closed
Monday, December 29th – All offices open for regular business hours
Tuesday, December 30th – All offices open for regular business hours
Wednesday, December 31st – All offices open – 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thursday, January 1st – All offices closed
Friday, January 2nd – All offices closed
Monday, January 5th – St. Croix offices open – 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
St. Thomas/St. John offices closed
Tuesday, January 6th – All offices closed

Regular operating hours resume Wednesday, January 7, at 7:30 a.m. for the St. Croix and St. Thomas offices, and 8 a.m. on St. John.

Customers are reminded that other payment options are available, to include online payments at www.viwapa.vi; placing a check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA business offices or by mail using the envelope included with the billing statement. To secure a password for online payments, send an email to customerservice@viwapa.vi.

 
Automated water standpipes will operate 24 hours each day throughout the holiday season. To report electric service interruptions on St. Thomas/St. John call 340-774-1424 or on St. Croix call 340-773-0150. To report water problems on St. Thomas/St. John call 340-775-5873 or on St. Croix call 340-773-3775. Service requests can also be made by clicking on the red and yellow button on the home screen at www.viwapa.vi for immediate attention, as line crews, plant and water operators, and telephone dispatchers are on duty. For other matters, please email communications@viwapa.vi.

The public is asked to drive cautiously during the holiday season to avoid collisions with utility poles which may result in injury, property damage or electric service interruptions. Customers experiencing service emergencies or planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 340-774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 340-773-0150 on St. Croix.
