St. John Customer Services Office Closed Wednesday

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s St. John Customer Services Office will be closed on Wednesday, January 7, in observance of inaugural ceremonies.  In a statement issued from Government House, Governor Kenneth E. Mapp has granted administrative leave on January 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to “non-essential employees who are residents of St. John assigned and working on the island of St. Thomas and all non- essential employees assigned and working on the island of St. John.”

 Regular operating hours for the WAPA St. John customer services office will resume on Thursday, January 9, at 8 a.m.  WAPA customer services offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix will remain open, with regular operating hours.

Customers are reminded that other payment options are available, to include online payments at; placing a check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA business offices or by mail using the envelope included with the billing statement.  

WAPA automated water standpipes operate 24 hours each day, and will not be affected.  To report water problems on St. Thomas/St. John call 340-775-5873 or on St. Croix call 340-773-3775.  Customers experiencing service emergencies or planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 340-774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 340-773-0150 on St. Croix.
