STT Water Interruption for East End Customers (Tutu to Nazareth)

(Tuesday, December 06, 2016)

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announces a water service interruption for a portion of the St. Thomas east end area on Wednesday, December 7, from 1 p.m. to midnight. Potable water customers in Tutu Highrise, Tutu Valley, Smith Bay, Red Hook and Nazareth will be affected by this water service interruption, which is necessary to allow WAPA crews to repair a leaking 12” main that feeds the Red Hook/Nazareth area on St. Thomas.

Customers are urged to store adequate water for use during the service interruption.

The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this water service interruption, and ensures customers that every effort will be made to restore water service as quickly as possible.

For more information about the water service interruption, call the Water Distribution department at 775-5873 or email communications@viwapa.vi.
