Thu June 3 -- St. Croix -- An auto accident in Estate New Works in which a vehicle struck a utility pole has been determined to be the cause of an outage on Feeder 9B. Crews have isolated the electric grid in and around the accident scene, restored most of the affected customers and are continuing to make repairs to service lines and other electrical equipment in New Works. Until repairs are completed later tonight, 18 customers will remain in a service interruption.

Fri June 4 -- St. Croix -- A road closure on Prince Street at the Lagoon Street intersection in Frederiksted, St. Croix will be in effect from 7 am to 9 pm. The road closure will allow WAPA’s contractor to finalize work associated with the Frederiksted Water Rehabilitation Project.During the work period, traffic flow will be detoured and customers on King and Prince Streets may experience reduced water pressure or a water service interruption. Motorists traversing in and around the work area are asked to proceed with caution for the safety of the crew, pedestrians and other motorists.
