U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA or “Authority”) wishes to inform the public of an upcoming road closure on St. Croix from Melvin Evans Highway to Queen Mary Highway, as part of the Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project.
The road closure will begin tomorrow March 1, 2023, through May 30, 2023, from 8AM – 3PM Monday - Friday. Flaggers and signage will be present at all work zones, and motorists are advised to exercise caution. Please see traffic control plan below for an exact outline of impacted areas.
The Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project will benefit St. Croix’s Campo Rico community by improving water quality, reducing system wide water loss, and improving infrastructure and system reliability.
