U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA or “Authority”) would like to inform the public of an upcoming lane closure on St. Croix related to the Clifton Hill Waterline Rehabilitation Project.

Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, through Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, one of the Northern Eastbound Lanes will be closed near the Clifton Hill entrance off the Melvin H. Evans highway.  Flaggers and signage will be present at all work zones, and motorists are advised to exercise caution.  Please see traffic control plan for an exact outline of impacted area.

The nearly completed Clifton Hill Waterline Rehabilitation Project will allow for significant improvements to water quality and delivery efficiency.
