U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Croix of a scheduled outage occurring tomorrow July 15, 2023, from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, affecting approximately 630 customers on Feeder 7B. 

630 customers will be out of service for approximately 30 minutes at the start of this window, as WAPA personnel isolate outage to perform work.  Following the isolation, most customers’ service will be restored, however 70 customers will remain out of service for approximately 1 hour.  The purpose of this outage is to relocate 3-Phase lines near Home Depot to allow Public Works to complete a new road in Estate Clifton Hill/Melvin Evans Highway.
