U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to invite all electricians to attend the Authority’s upcoming “Electrician’s Meet” happening Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at UVI's Research & Technology Park - Albert Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The Authority’s Transmission & Distribution and Customer Service departments will be hosting the event as an opportunity for electricians to network, and will also be providing updates on WAPA’s policies, procedures, and underground/overground requirements. The Department of Natural and Planning Resources (DPNR) will also be presenting as part of the informational event.
The Authority looks forward to sharing valuable information with the Electrician community and encourages all Electricians operating in St. Croix to attend. These efforts are to ensure the safety of our customers and service businesses they rely on for their power services.
