The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority wishes to commemorate the outstanding work being done by our linemen corps on Lineman Appreciation Day.

“From our extraordinary hurricane recovery efforts to our more mundane tasks and efforts, we can always be proud of not only the dedication, but also the quality of work put forth by our linemen,” said Ashley Bryan, director of the WAPA transmission and distribution unit. “From middle of the night outages, automobiles impacting our poles and forcing a replacement or simply ensuring that our lines stay clear, we depend on every one of our line men who put their lives on the line daily”.
