U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to advise the public of the following changes to normal business operation hours this week for to allow employees to participate in an employee-wide meeting.
TUESDAY, MAY 16, 2023
- St. Thomas business offices will be closed from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
- St. John business offices will open at 2 PM.
- St. Croix business offices will maintain normal business hours.
FRIDAY, MAY 19, 2023
- St. Croix business offices will be closed from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
- St. Thomas and St. John offices will maintain normal business hours.
The Authority will not be completing disconnections tomorrow May 16, 2023, as a result of the reduced business hours. Disconnections for unpaid bills will resume on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Customers can continue to process their transactions through the following ways:

- Visit www.viwapa.vi and click on the “Pay Your Bill Online” button
- Make payments at First Bank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches
