U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to invite all electricians on both St. Thomas and St. John to attend the Authority’s upcoming “Electrician’s Meet” happening Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the WICO Building, 1st Floor on St. Thomas.

The Authority’s Transmission & Distribution and Customer Service departments will be hosting the event as an opportunity for electricians to network, and will also be providing updates on WAPA’s policies, procedures, and underground/overground requirements.  The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) will also be presenting as part of the informational event. This is a collaborative effort amongst both agencies to educate engineers to work safely with customers across the territory.

The Authority looks forward to sharing valuable information with the electrician community and encourages all electricians to attend!
