U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to advise the public of a road closure on St. Croix in the Hannah’s Rest area beginning tomorrow, September 6, 2023, for the duration of the day. The road closure will impact both lanes of the first block heading south from the intersection of Hannah’s Rest Road/Emancipation Drive and Centerline Rd (See accompanying image). Flaggers and signage will be on site.

The Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project will benefit St. Croix’s Campo Rico community by improving water quality, reducing system wide water loss, and improving infrastructure and system reliability.

The Authority thanks the community for its understanding and patience, as progress towards water infrastructure upgrades continues.
