St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands --- The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Croix of a road closure beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5th, through Thursday, March 7th, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists traveling along Hannah’s Rest Road between Melvin H. Evans Highway and Queen Mary Highway should choose alternate roadways throughout the day. Please see the map for an outline of impacted areas.

The purpose of the traffic diversion is to allow the Authority’s Water System Maintenance crews and contractor, VI Paving, to continue the Campo Rico Water Rehabilitation project to include milling and paving of the west lane.
