St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands --- The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Thomas that due to a vehicle crashing into a pole in the Smith Bay area there is an electrical service interruption on March 4, 2024, from 10AM to 3PM. During this time, customers from Cassi Hill to Sapphire will experience an outage lasting approximately five (5) hours so WAPA personnel can complete emergency repairs to the transmission line.
