U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Croix of a road closure tomorrow starting at 8:00 am in the Sunny Isles Shopping Center area. WAPA Water System Maintenance Crew is scheduled to repair a mainline leak near Jackie Beauty Supply in Estate Diamond Ruby. Due to the severity of the repairs, road closures will cause traffic diversion through the Sunny Isles Shopping Center (see map above to reference). We are asking the motoring public to abide by all road signs and flaggers on site.The road closure is expected to last for at least eight hours. No water service is expected to be interrupted during the duration of the repairs.
