ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – September 22, 2025 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) would like to advise the public of a scheduled water interruption on St. Thomas on today, September 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Contant (Soto Town). The cause of the outage is to repair an eight (8) inch water mainline leak along Harwood Highway/Judy M. Gomez Highway.   

There will also be a one lane closure along Harwood highway from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Customers in the area from Vitran Bus Terminal area to Oriental Bank, including Contant (Soto Town) will be impacted by the water interruption beginning this afternoon.
