ST. CROIX, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS (December 4, 2025) – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) advises the public that the previously announced road closure for the Hannah's Rest undergrounding project between the Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion and the Caribbean Centers for Boys and Girls of the Virgin Islands in Frederiksted will be rescheduled to accommodate the Crucian Christmas Festival and to encourage efficient access for residents and visitors during the celebration.

WAPA is currently coordinating with organizers and contractors to identify a new date that will minimize traffic disruptions. An updated schedule will be issued once arrangements are finalized.
