U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS (September 24, 2026) –The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority ("WAPA" or "the Authority") welcomes Lynton Scotland as the newest member of its Governing Board following his nomination by Governor Albert Bryan Jr. and confirmation by the 36th Legislature of the Virgin Islands.
Scotland brings more than three decades of executive leadership and utility-sector experience spanning engineering, procurement, supply chain management, operations, strategic sourcing and organizational leadership. His professional career includes leadership roles with major chemical, materials, energy and utility organizations, including DuPont, NRG Energy and the Consolidated Edison Company of New York.
Most recently, Scotland served as Chief Supply Chain and Procurement Officer for Consolidated Edison Company of New York, where he led strategic procurement and supply chain functions for one of the nation’s largest investor-owned energy companies.
His experience across energy and utility operations provides an important perspective as WAPA continues its work to strengthen operations, improve organizational performance and support the long-term energy and water needs of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
