U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS (October 8, 2026) – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “the Authority”) advises customers of limited service at its Sunny Isles Business Office on St. Croix on Friday, October 9, 2026, followed by the closure of Customer Service and Business offices territorywide on Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Virgin Islands–Puerto Rico Friendship Day.
Limited Service at Sunny Isles Business Office Friday
The Sunny Isles Business Office will maintain regular hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9. Beginning at 12:00 p.m., the office will provide
cashier services only through 4:00 p.m. In-person customer service and account support will not be available during this time. Customers seeking assistance may contact WAPA by phone at (340) 773-2250 (Option 5) or via email at
customer.service@viwapa.vi.
The Four Winds Plaza office on St. Thomas and the Marketplace office on St. John will remain open during regular business hours on Friday, with full services, including customer service and account support, available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WAPA Customer Service and Business offices will be closed territorywide on Monday, October 12, in observance of Virgin Islands–Puerto Rico Friendship Day.
